Support before, during, and after your outpatient procedure.
Outpatient procedures can still feel overwhelming. A StartHere patient advocate can be with you before, during, and/or after your procedure to help you understand instructions, communicate with your care team, and ensure your questions are answered every step of the way.
What We Do
- Review procedure preparation instructions with you and your family
- Help you understand medications before and after the procedure
- Accompany you to the facility and support you during the visit
- Assist with communication between you and your healthcare providers
- Provide follow-up support after the procedure as needed
When to Request an Advocate
Consider requesting outpatient procedure advocacy if you want a trusted advocate by your side for a scheduled procedure, need help understanding preparation steps or medications, or want support coordinating with your healthcare team.
